D'luijtenant Nicolaas de Jonge van Oosterland ende boukhouder Roelof Diodati, [1] tot 't opnemen van 's Comps. buijtenposten en d' ommeslag der vrijluijden

[1] Kom in die monsterrol van 1692 voor as Roelof deodati van Dorth, wat as boekhouer ƒ30 per maand verdien het. Hy het die Kaap egter op 24 Augustus 1692 met die fluitskip 't Duijfje verlaat met opdrag om Isaak Johannes Lamotius, oppergesaghebber van Mauritius, gevange te neem en hom op te volg. Hy was tot 1703 opperhoof van genoemde eiland en het later koopman en boekhouer van die ambagskwartier in Batavia en daarna opperhoof van die Kompanjie se handelspos in Japan geword. Volgens sy handtekening is bostaande spelling, naamlik Roelof Diodati, die juiste spelling
