Notes:
The information for this family is from the will of George Fysh - 1880,
the GRO marriage index and the 1861 census (which records are
from the collection of Fysh information in the Norfolk Family History
Society's Library) and the 1881 census - I have assumed that Liddle
Fysh of that census (1881 LDS cdrom) is the same as Siddle Fysh of
the will.

In the Board of Trade Seaman's Register (113 for 1844-1854) he is
described as 5 foot 6 1/2 inches tall, with a dark complexion, dark
hair and brown eyes. It is there stated that he first went to sea as
a boy.

In the NFHS Norfolk marriage index 1801-1837 there is a marriage
between Thomas Fysh and Mary Siddle noted at Brancaster, 21st
December 1807 - most probably his parents.
