Hilletje Geertruida Mostert
died after 1821
Hilletje Geertruida Rust
of Leeuwenkopskloof (alias Kanonberg), Zwartland 1
born 21 April 1781, at the Cape 2
baptized 22 April 1781, Swartland 3
died 16 March 1849, at the residence of
the Revd Mr J.C. La Febre Moorees at Malmesbury 4
will dated 11 October 1833
and filed 20 March 1849
her birth date is calculated from her age at death which was given
as 67 years 10 months and 25 days.

Her death notice lists her daughter Hilletjie Gertruida Basson as
married to Hendrik Jac van der Westhuizen. I have assumed that
this daughter is the same HG Basson who was earlier married to
Johannes Petrus du Toit. See the notes for this HG Basson.

Her birth date is calculated from her age at death which was
given on her death notice as 67 years 10 months and 25 days.

According to the Estate Accounts of 1849, drawn up after her
death, her farm of Leeuwenkopskloof (alias Kanonberg) and a
quarter share of her farm Nooitgedacht, both in Malmesbury
district, was transferred to her sons Matthys Michielse Basson
and Johannes Hendrik Albertus Basson for the sum of 11,666

The children are given as listed in her Death Notice.
