Under the mound of ivy we believe lie the graves of John and Mary Marsters with two of their children, Maria Kenney Marsters and Albert Marsters.

The material of the tombstones (presumably similar to the two long low ones visible on the left) is crumbly and removing the ivy is liable to take the top layer of stone with it, so we made no attempt to remove it.

The burials are recorded in the burial register of the Hardwick Cemetery which is maintained by Lynn Borough Council and, given the date of  a burial, the details can be checked and the grave located.

Burials from 1855 onwards are recorded in the register, and entries normally record the name, age and date of burial.
