# The parents of Jacob Mostert

I have assumed that the Jacob Mostert married
to Maria Pieron was the same person as the son
mentioned in the accounts drawn up circa 1720
after the death of Elisabeth Nieumeyer, especially
since she and her husband Jan Mostert were the
witnesses at the baptism of this couple's son,
Cornelis, in 1717.
