 | | Notes: | I have assumed that Francina Johanna, daughter of Jacobus Nicolaas Redelinghuys,
was the same person as the wife of Johannes Egberts Risseeuw. Her estimated
date of birth fits in very well with her position in the list of children from the death
notice of 1893 (TAB 7874 - Jacobus Nicolaas Redelinhuys) and the names of her
children would be consistent with those of her parents and siblings if she followed
the usual Afrikaner naming patter. Unfortunately, however, her own death notice
does not name her parents, and that of JN Redelinghuys does not mention the names
of his daughters' husbands, so this assumption could be wrong. Please let me have
any corrections or additions to the evidence. |
