In the Name of God, Amen I Susannah Ball of the towne & Port Hasting in
the County of Susssex widdow being Aged & weake in body but of perfect
sound mind & memory praised be God Almighty and minding my mortality doe
make and ordaine this my last will & Testament in writing in maner &
forme following (That is to Say)

First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God
hoping through the merrits Death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ
to have the full pardon of all my Sinns & to inheritt Everlasting Life
and my body I leave to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion
of my Executor hereafter named and as touching the disposition of all
such temporall Estates as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me in this
life I give and dispose of them as Followeth

Imprimis Item I give and bequeath to my Loveing son John Ball and to his
heires forever All that my messuage or Tenement wherein I now dwell with
the Garden and all & every the Appurtences thereunto belonging Scituate
lying and being in the parish of St. Clements in hasting aforesaid but if
my son John Ball shall dye without heires then this my said Tenement to
returne to all the Rest of my Children then liveing equall amongst them
to sell or dispose of as they please

Item I give & bequeath to my Loveing son Robert Ball two pair of new
ordinary sheets and half a dozen of napkins and one of the Bell brass
skilletts

Item I give & bequeath to my loveing Sons William Ball and Richard Ball &
Susannah Ball my Daughter That my said messuage or Tenement my son John
Ball now liveth in being scituate & in the parish of St Clements in
hasting aforesaid with Garden & Appurtenances thereto belonging Ajoyning
near to my dweling house to them & their heirs but if nessessity Require
then for my Executor to sell to pay my Debts

Item all the Rest of my moveable goods Chattells & netts Ropes & what to
me belongeth I give to my son William Ball Richard Ball & Susannah Ball
to be sold for the bringing up of my said Children Leaveing my Loveing
Son John Ball as a trustee in there behalfe for their overseers & for to
Receive the Rents that may be Due for that forementioned tenement for
their use & behalfe Repairing it in Repairs

Item I give to my said son William Richard & Susannah Ball All that
Sixteenth parte of the Pinck that Richard Chambes now is the master of
called by the name of the day Star of Hasting aforesaid for Their
maintainance and paying my debts and funerall Expences being first
discharged out of my aforesaid moveable Goods and doe make & ordain my
Loveing Son John Ball my Sole Executor of this my Last will and Testament
And I doe hereby make void disanull and denigh all other wills by me made
Acknowledging this and no other to be my Last will & Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale this Twenty sixth
day of February in the First Year of the Reign of our Soveraign Lady Ann
by the grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland Queen Defender
of the Faith and in ye Year of our Lord Anno Dni 1702/3
