Michiel Basson 1 of Keesenbosch, Swartland 2 born 1679 3 baptized 25 June 1679, Cape Town 4 died circa 1719 5 Notes: Children listed as given on his mother's estate accounts of 1720 and the inventory of his goods drawn up on 3rd March 1719. Only the three sons are mentioned as heirs in the inventory so presumably their mother had died prior to this date.

They allowed him 500 gulden. (MOOC 1/6, Weeskamer Notulenboek)  married 2 May 1734 Drakenstein 16 Johanna Catharina van Jaarsveld Alida Basson born 1697 born 1697 17 baptized 28 July 1697, Cape Town 18 Notes: She is not mentioned in the 1718 estate accounts of her grandmother, Angela van Bengalen, and had presumably died before this date.
