Willem Tol, with a long beard and no collar visible, is to the right (when viewing the picture) of the anatomist.

 Notes: In his mother's will, 1649, he was left the surgical instruments and equipment left behind by his father; the silver instruments as well as the others.
 When he and his wife made their joint will on the 26th October 1655 he was described as 'sick in body and confined to bed', his signature a dreadful, shaking scrawl. On the 29th he was buried in the Nieuwe Kerk.

 Notes: Her baptism is not to be found in the Delft Archive's online index. Her mother's will lists her beteween Josina and Ariaentjen, and her sister Josina's will lists her three siblings as Eefje, Jacob and Ariaentjen.
 She is mentioned in the will of her mother. 1649, and those of her sister, Josijna Willems van Tol, 1555 and 1661.
